Why Fall is the BEST for Baking
Between the colorful leaves decorating the trees, the crisp mornings and warm afternoons, and that you finally get to wear that cozy, new sweater, it is no wonder that fall is an easy favorite! There are Halloween and Thanksgiving festivities and a feeling of productivity with the start of school, but one of the best parts of the whole season is the food. Pumpkins, apples, pears, squash, and corn are all ripe for the picking, to name a few! Not only are these delicious pieces of produce yummy on their own, but they also make great add-ins to spice up classic baked goods. Over the next couple of months, I’ll be trying all kinds of gluten-free autumn recipes and look forward to sharing my favorites and any tips and tricks I learn along the way!
Here are a few of the recipes I have already made this season:
A few items I am looking forward to making:
- Sweet Potato Pie
- Slow Cooker Applesauce
- Pear Syrup
I am sure this list will only get bigger! If you have any items you would like me to consider for future posts this fall, please leave me a comment!
Happy autumn baking!
